Dan Moskowitz is my real estate hero.

I was behind on my mortgage, and had begun

to receive foreclosure warnings in the mail from my bank. Among the foreclosure threats, came letters with offers of "help" from dozens of real estate agents. I quickly realized my house was chum in the water for these shares. It seems they all wanted me to list the house to sell with them so they could receive their commission.

Then I received a hand-written note from. Dan offering to try to save my home from foreclosure - not sell it, necessarily, unless I wanted to. What?! If I wasn't selling

my house, what's in it for him, I wondered.

 

When I met with Dan, he asked me about my priorities in dealing with the house. He listened, then he laid out all my options, and guided me to the right plan to meet my needs. Basically, he saved my home. His skill g knowledge made maneuvering through the endless sea of paperwork tolerable. When I was ready to give up, his pep talks got me through the next step. Dan worked with the bank on my behalf and got me the loan modification that enabled me to stay in my home until I am ready to sell it.

 

And his fee? Well, no sale means no commission, so there was nothing in it for him. Not a thing. But what did he earn? My undying gratitude, and a referral to him for all my family & friends' real estate needs. When I do sell, there's only one person with whom I'll list my home - Dan Moskowitz, Real Estate Hero.

I want to add that while I was attempting to keep my home a promotion with AT&T came through but it required, I immediately move to Atlanta Georgia. I had to sell my home, but I had never closed permits on a 2nd story I added on to 5 years ago. Dan told me that he would hire a contractor pay him upfront, oversee the process of getting a permit so that I could sell the home for top dollar. We had multi-offers and I received well over asking price. All I had to do is open the mail and get my closing check.
